Lovely Chocolate Hills in Bohol, Philippines
Tagbilaran City is the Capital of Bohol in Central Visayas, Philippines. That name is derived from “Tagu Bilaan” which means TAGU (to hide) and BILAAN (a Muslim marauder tribe), hence its name means to hide from muslim marauders. It is a popular tourist destination and the province is abundant of beaches and resorts. Panglao Island, which is situated south-west of the province and Anda, located on the island’s east side are among the well-known beaches found in Bohol.
From Tagbilaran City tours can be booked going to the Chocolate Hills located in Carmen, Bohol not far from the capital. Bus trips are also available at Dao Integrated Bus Terminal in Tagbilaran City and takes tourists by bus 55 km to travel there in 1 hour & 30 minutes.
